Yan Garden is beside Wangjia Bridge, Shantang Road, in Mudu. The front is facing a stream and the back is against Lingyan Hill. Although it is in the mountain areas, the delicacy of its structure is no interior to that in urban areas (Records of Gardens in the South of Yangtze River, Tong Jun), thus making it one of the famous gardens in the south of Yangtze River.
